Paul E. Hunt

President

Paul’s career in real estate started over 35 years ago in North Hollywood, California. Since then, Paul has owned and/or worked in virtually every aspect of real estate. Some of those duties have been leading large sales and leasing forces, escrow, loan broker, corporate counsel, and COO of a development company. He has been Asset Manager controlling large investment portfolios including shopping centers, industrial, multi-residential, mid-rise and high-rise office property.

While working full time, Paul found time for extensive study in real estate and related subjects. He obtained his B.S.L and J.D. Among Paul’s other accreditations are HVAC Contractor, General Contractor and Real Estate Broker which gives him a special ability to see situations from many different angles.

Always willing to stand behind his motto “How May I Help You?”, Paul has been on many nonprofit boards among other current involvement with the community.

Jodi Turkus

Asset Manager

Jodi Turkus, as a native Californian, grew up in the San Fernando Valley. She attended Santa Barbara City College majoring in Interior Design, then went on to get her B.A. at the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Jodi came to Surety Group Inc. with over 25 years of experience in sales, administration, and operation from the commercial manufacturing industry. Jodi spent 17 years as Vice President of Operations overseeing 250 employees. Through her leadership, their annual sales advanced from 8 million to 40 million. She was essential in acquisition, retrofit and opening of two new facilities in Texas and New York.

Jodi loves animals and volunteers at the Golden Retriever Rescue helping re-home rescued dogs. In her free time, she enjoys hiking and mountain biking.

Annie Rahier

Office Manager

Annie was proudly born in Liege, Belgium. After high school, she worked as a secretary and bookkeeper in the construction and insurance businesses. She continued her college education at Ecole Superieure de Comptabilite-Jemeppe achieving degrees in both business and bookkeeping.

Annie immigrated to the United States with her family in 1983. She continuously worked within management and accounting for the restaurant industry, a position she held for over 25 years until that business sold. In 2016 she accepted the opportunity to work with Surety Group, Inc. as bookkeeper and later as bookkeeper and Office Manager.

She enjoys spending time her grandchildren. As an active person, Annie is involved with hiking, Pilates, yoga, and Belgian Heritage societies.

Michelle Hulac-Morentin

Advisor

Michelle was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley, a part of the City of Los Angeles. After serving in the US Army and US Army Reserves, Michelle went to college and completed her B.S., and M.S., in psychology. These degrees eventually led to a lecturing position with University of Maryland in Europe, and thereafter as a project coordinator working with the Veteran Administration in Hampton Roads Virginia. In 1996 Michelle completed her J.D., at Creighton Law School.

In 1996 Michelle accepted a position with Surety Group, Inc. Ms. Hulac-Morentin worked several positions within Surety Group, Inc., including General Manager, to eventually being promoted to President. She enjoys hiking and belongs to several veteran groups including DAV and American Legion.
